Just because you played in college doesn't mean you were a world beater. It also doesn't mean the skills you worked so hard to build would even stay with you.

So as we launch [golfhackz] with this first newsletter and our first podcast epsiode, we couldn't think of a better way to kick things off than this: a 90-day game transformation with two of the best dudes we've met in golf.

Devlin and Mitchell Arensberg. The twins behind Twins Off Target.

These guys aren't just great athletes with huge upside. They're humble, coachable, and hungry to get better and build a real career in golf.

So we're doing everything we can to help them on two fronts. First, take their games to new heights. Second, learn the ins and outs of the golf business, specifically the world of remote, high-performance coaching.

In this first episode, you'll watch Andrew, our resident fixer, break down their swings, show them what's what, and teach them a thing or two about camera angles and more.

The Setup: Twin versus Twin. 90 days. Who will improve the most?

Let's get into it. 👊

Better Golf. Unlocked

What’s The Patch?

Every other week a drop hits your inbox.

One email - practical programming that you can actually run on your game without chasing bandaid BS tips. Plus, access to tech and coaching you can only get here.

One podcast episode - a mix of candid conversations, interviews, live coaching and more.

This whole thing is run by me (architect) and Andrew Banner (fixer).

I'm a former pro and a high-performance coach, and I founded CoachNow, which became the highest rated coaching app in the world, used by specialists in 80 sports across 140 countries.

After its second acquisition I exited and now spend my time with golf-tech founders building the next generation of tools you'll actually want to use, which means you get cutting-edge tech and real-deal training methods nobody else can source.

Andrew is [golfhackz]'s fixer. His specialty is fixing swings, scores, and bodies remotely so players can finally have a real shot, and he's worked with tour players you know and plenty of golfers you don't, each one getting the result they came for.

He builds the plans and calls the reps. The voice you'll hear when we hand you a drill is his.

Faults and Fixes - The importance of fast feedback

The most important thing you can do for yourself as a golfer is become an independent golfer.

What do I mean by that?

The whole reason you go to a coach is to learn and improve your swing. But one of the biggest complaints I hear from the average golfer is that their range game doesn't transfer to the course.

Why does that happen?

Because they don't show up to their coaching with an independent golfer mindset.

When you have that mindset, you hold yourself accountable in your own practice sessions, the ones when your coach isn't standing there. You learn to self-assess your swing from two camera views: down the line and face on. The two most common angles in golf coaching.

Face on is when the camera looks at your chest. Down the line is when it sits behind you, looking down the target line to the flag.

Here's how to set up either one.

You want the camera at about chest height, with your hands in the middle of the screen. Picture an X drawn across your phone screen, vertical: top right corner to bottom left, top left corner to bottom right. Your hands should sit right in the middle of that X.

When you're taking lessons, ask your coach exactly what you should be looking for when you're practicing on your own. We're always working on one thing at a time.

And when you can finally transfer the range to the course, you're the best version of yourself.

That means recognizing the mishit the moment it happens out on the course. You know it, because you've watched your swing on video enough times and you've talked with your coach about how to make that on-course adjustment.

That's when you've earned the right to call yourself an independent golfer.

CHIP’d - A launch monitor inside of the ball 🤯

I've been working with the team at CHIP’d team since late last year, and I can tell you they've pulled off the holy grail in golf.

This is the innovation that everyone’s been chasing in golf for years. Many have tried, many have failed.

I was with them at the PGA Show this year. They won the Pinnacle Award (best in show) and absolutely blew it out of the water. Major golf ball companies were circling, top 100 coaches begging to get access, and launch monitor companies were shaking.

The hype is real and they are about to ship their first wave here soon BUT you’ve got 1 more week to lock in your early adopter pre-order if you wanna snag some this year.

Like I told you up top: I get access to things you may have never heard of, or never will, because they only go to the elite.

This is your first and likely last chance in 2026 to swoop what's promising to be the biggest tech release in the last five years.

Go get it.

See ya in couple weeks.
